Hello Everybody,
First, we want to say THANK YOU to all of you who have shown your support by pledging and sharing! With 9 days to go, we're $25 away from reaching our next goal of $500 for that third gift set (see image). And we're not stopping there. Lloyd is already inking another 5" x 7" print (see image) with a Sakura Festival theme. We're setting a modest goal of $600 for that to be unlocked.
If you want that third gift set, just add $6 to your pledge. Once unlocked the Sakura Festival print will be an additional $3. Any applicable shipping will be added after the campaign (we'll do everything to keep it low!). For those of you who have already increased your pledge for the third gift set, we've got you covered. We're using Backerkit for our after-campaign management and surveys. All Add-ons you see here will be available after the project.
Lloyd wants to express his deepest gratitude for your support, so he decided to give everyone a special gift. He's created a free PDF download of a guide to The World of WoodChi. The guide will include a brief backstory and an explanation of the characters you see on the tags, bookmarks and prints. After the campaign, you will receive that PDF via the email you provide. So please make sure your emails are up to date.
We'll be taking a brief break for the holiday and then off to our Christmas Show for the three day weekend!

Hey everybody,
Look what's dropping in!!
Well a bit later than I anticipated, but as promised in the comments, here is your latest update. We're just about $75 away from reaching our next unlockable item.
I used Faber-Castell polychromos pencils to color this, just in case you were wondering. Good, sharp pencils, a dust-free eraser, and you can create your own works of art.
Between combating with the hours at his day job and working to produce the most marvelous inkings in with his spare time, Lloyd has managed to create another set of seasonal tags, with 4 new gift tags and a fabulous new bookmark with that "Salt of the Sea" Wayfarer's theme. So we'll be looking forward to that when we reach $500.
Santa's Little Nickers
"Are they coming or going? Giving or taking? Joyous memories to be had or hearts to be breaking?" Whatever you decide they may be doing, you can be sure they will do it well!!
Last year while perusing some rough sketches of Lloyd's, I remember one he did just around Christmas that he shared on Facebook. Eric and I fell for it immediately, this simple sketch filled us with nostalgia and that childlike wonder and excitement that happens at Christmas. We feel like kids, because we are kids at heart.
Needless to say, Eric convinced him to make this magical drawing come to life for the coloring collection you have chosen to become part of. So we are very excited to offer this 5" X 7" (12.70 cm x 17.78 cm) ready to color to print to you.

Falling Back and Moving Forward

Hey Everyone!
We hope you're all having a great start to your week! We are now 107% funded with 24 days to go! Thanks to everyone for making this campaign a success so quickly!
Now for our first add-on....
Despite working a full-time day job, Lloyd always finds time to sketch and get his ideas down on paper. To our delight, he has released his latest Christmas sketch, "Santa Secret Service." As he works on the final inking, we're going to offer it to you as an add-on. This is a 5 x 7 inch (12.70 cm x 17.78 cm) color-ready print. Just like the gift tags and bookmarks, this print will be professionally printed on the same heavy textured card stock.
Now for the confusing part!
The print is now available for new backers at the $5 pledge level.
Backers who pledged $12 and under (not including shipping) add $3.00 for the print. Backers who pledged $20 or more, you're covered. Just send me a message letting me know you want the print added to your reward. Additional shipping, where applicable, will be calculated after the campaign. Yes, sorry, but even adding a tenth of an ounce, in some cases, jumps the postage up. We do our best to keep costs low while still protecting your rewards.

I had a productive weekend. As you can see from my WIPs here, I got to some more coloring (and experimenting). I also had the pleasure of touching bases with some adult coloring book bloggers. If you really love coloring, I suggest you check out some of these blogs. They're very well done.

Over Halfway There with More to Share

The Start of Something Special
We're 3 days into the campaign and now 59% funded. Not half bad! No pun intended. Thanks for the messages and comments and for keeping us on our toes;) If we continue on this trend, we should reach our $300 goal before too long.
Some of you might think that Lloyd isn't in the picture. Well, he is, behind the scenes. He's working on a new gift set that will be an "Add On" once we reach our goal. He's got a whirlwind of ideas and characters just waiting to be discovered, and we've got quite a few product ideas ourselves. So with your support we feel that we can create an entire line of products devoted to WoodChi.
Good Timing
Remember, since we already have the gift tags and bookmarks printed, we'll be able to start fulfillment as soon as the campaign ends on December 1st. That has been our plan all along. We want you to have these by Christmas!
Slowly but Surely
Featured are some WIPs of my coloring progress. The pencil shavings and setup were Eric's idea, he wanted that extra touch of realism. It's slow going. I take my coloring pretty seriously, although I might have gone out of the lines a little...but it's extremely fun and relaxing to color this whimsical little world. The pencils I use are Faber-Castell Polychromos Colour Pencils.
Please remember to share! Oh and watch out for the Sneaker Creeper featured on the Twisted Tree Hollows bookmark, waiting for unwary travelers to spook = )
